Complementary Information:The « Sentier des droits de l'homme » (« Rights of Man Trail »), a 44km greenway between Albi and Castres. This hedge-lined path curves peacefully in the heart of the countryside of the Tarn department (county). The hills, which are fashioned by the mosaic of the crops and punctuated by farmhouses and pigeon lofts, are regularly revealed in spaces in the living hedges... Here, the oak, the tree of heaven, the maple, the walnut tree or the elder tree all faithfully accompany the traveller. Under their cover live a multitude of birds and small mammals... From the sides of the track waft the perfumes of broom, hawthorn, elder and juniper, and when thick brambles are deliberately left to decorate the hedge, it is to offer succulent blackberries to the passers-by.
